My son, being a construction superintendent, recommended Greenling Roofing for my reroof project. I got several quotes and Greenling was in the ball park but not the cheapest. They also were four month’s out for a start date. While the cheapest bidder was only two months lead time, my son insisted I should wait for Greenling.
Sure enough, four months came and they showed up on the job. Each crew was a specialist for what they did. First crew removed the old tiles, membrane, replaced any bad plywood, and redid the membrane.
During this process, I asked them to inspect and look for a current dead mouse that we were experiencing, close to the repair of a piece of plywood. They looked and couldn’t see it. The crew leader came in the house and looked to see where the smell was strongest. When he was working in that area, he pulled up a sheet of plywood and went in the inaccessible attic area we couldn’t reach from the house.
The next crew was the tile crew. They were very meticulous with they’re cutting and placing the barrel tile snuggly. They added additional roof vents, where there wasn’t any before, replaced all penetration with new ones, repaired and metal wrapped four existing sky lights, painted all the new stacks, and mudded [concrete] all exposed ends.
Every day the job site was cleaned so when they left, you wouldn’t have known they had been there.
All their employees were experienced and had been with them 10 years or more.
Job done and a happy owner.
